Yes, I know, it's a Hypermodern. But, this author is still actively publishing. She has six or seven books on the shelves at the big boxes. The book's not a bad read either. The heroine is a flawed character, and this reviewer did not warm up to her entirely. The rest of the cast and the setting and action were OK, though. It is, after all, the first edition of a popular author's first book. 0312867522
