COLLECTOR'S ITEM. In the 1870's, Scribner, Armstrong & Co. published a set of 12mo's called "The Bric-A-Brac Series". It was basically a set of memoirs by the literati of the day in beautifully inscribed and illustrated buckram covers. this one is is darkened and somewhat soiled w/ some chips on the top and bottom of spine, but in overall good shape. Inscribed on FEP by owner in 1876
